I am a historian by training, but in my free time, I love to  paint. It relaxes me and brings me joy. As I am learning, I am focusing more on how to bring out different textures better and pay more attention to the variations in the light.

 

From childhood on, we traveled a lot and I live on several continents. The different colors of nature in different settings always fascinated me and I love to be outside and explore. When I go on walks on the trails, I always see something new and surprising, may it be color combinations or the way the light falls, draws shadows, or reflects, or may it be how a leaf falls and dances in the wind. The world is beautiful!
